Car seat and carpet cleaning in Los Angeles, priced from your photos

Spilled, sick, muddy or smoky? Send a few photos of the seats and floors, and we price the car before anyone comes.

Packages are priced by size. A car in rough shape is priced from photos. Either way, we reply within 1 hour, any day but Sunday, 8 am to 6 pm.

Two gloved hands in blue work sleeves pulling a hot-water extractor head across a beige cloth back seat. Brown water shows in the clear head and a clean stripe runs where it has passed.
  • Priced by size, or from your photos, before anyone comes.
  • Nothing added at the door without your yes.
  • One detailer does the whole car, start to finish.
  • No plan to sign up for, no card kept on file.

Most of what ends up in car seats is ordinary, from a dog's hair to a carsick child on the way home. Don't clean up first. We price the car as it is.

What we take out, and the time it adds

Pet hair

It weaves into the carpet and every seam, and a vacuum on its own leaves most of it behind. Rubber brushes lift it first, then the vacuum and the extractor take it out. Heavy pet hair adds 30 to 60 minutes.

A sick passenger

The seat and the carpet under it are extracted, then the smell is treated. The odor treatment adds 45 minutes.

A spill that set in

Coffee, milk, soda or juice. Milk takes longest, because the smell comes back if any stays in the seat foam. Each stained seat adds 20 minutes.

Smoke

It sits in the headliner and the seats, and comes back through the vents. The odor treatment adds 45 minutes, and spots on the headliner add 30.

Mud and beach sand

Sand works down into the carpet and the trunk liner. Compressed air and a long vacuum bring it out, with no extra on most cars.

How the photo price works

  1. Open the doors and take 2 to 4 photos in daylight: the worst seat, the carpet and the stain up close.
  2. Send them by text to (310) 857-2520, with the car's year, make and model and your ZIP code.
  3. Within 1 hour, any day but Sunday, 8 am to 6 pm, the detailer who'll do the job names the package and each extra, with the time it adds. Photos sent after 6 pm are priced by 9 am the next business day.
  4. Pick a day and a start time. Nothing extra happens without your yes.

What goes into the price

Your car's size and the package set the base. Most of these jobs are an interior detail, or inside and out if the outside needs it too. Each problem above goes on its own line as an extra, with its time. If the car needs something the photos didn't show, the detailer shows you and asks first.

The gray cloth back seat of a Subaru Outback through the open rear door, covered in drifts of golden dog hair, with a dried coffee ring on the cushion, sand and crumbs on the floor mat and a chewed rope toy.

What a cleaning won't fix

  • An old stain may fade and still show. If your photos show one, we say so with the price.
  • Hair woven deep into carpet can take a second pass. We price that time first, as an extra, so it never turns up at the end.
  • Torn or cracked seats need an upholstery shop. We clean and condition leather and vinyl, and splits stay as they are.

The figure you pay

The figure in our reply is the figure you pay when the work is done, with each extra on its own line. You walk around the car with the detailer, then pay. No card is needed up front.

Seat and carpet questions

Should I try to clean it up before you come?

No. Blot up anything still wet and leave the rest. Scrubbing can push a spill deeper into the seat foam.

Will the smell come back?

It can, if any stays in the seat foam. The seat is extracted before the smell is treated. Years of smoke can linger in a headliner after one visit, and if your photos suggest that, we tell you with the price.

How long until the seats are dry?

A few hours after shampoo and extraction. If the car will sit in the sun, crack the windows and they dry faster.

Two ways to get a price

Packages are priced by the size of your car, so you can request a time now and the price comes with our reply. A car in rough shape is priced from photos first.
